We held our regular scout meeting. It included:

700-opening by Liam with dues and attendance
715-a game of fox and the hounds with Eric using snow shoes to make the trail
745-year activities
815-game
830-discussion by Simon and the first years to evaluate our camp. Some of the themes included what kind of water bottles to bring, how to keep water from freezing, how to stay warm by bringing multiple changes of clothing including mits and socks. It also included discussion of the shelters, and Scouter Pete brought photos of the camp for us.
845-A pet care badge was awarded to Ross. The first year Scouts including Emma, Aislinn, David, and third year, Simon were awarded their winter camper badges. Liam closed following a prayer about spreading the good things about Scouting into the world by Troop Scouter, Joni Boyd. Joni also inquired to Fred Hyde about having scouts receive their sub-zero awards.
Michael, Cooper (ill) and Frances were absent.
