Location: Gatineau Park - Group Site#5, starting the hike in at P19
A 1 night camp where we'll be going on an adventure trek to our campsite.
Yukon youth/Scouters - trail 55 which is an 8.5km walk/hike
Troop A youth/Scouters - road route - 4km walk
It's all lightweight camping, so everything is on your back and in the backpack. That is your personal kit, food and troop gear too.
This is our last camp in 2014 so let's make sure we finish this extraordinary year with another great camp.
We'll start early on Saturday morning to hike into our site, with a Sunday afternoon return. Some fun activities like bouldering/geocaching should happen along the way too.

Payment is due on Nov. 3rd (there’s no need for a Parent consent form for this activity).
Everybody that is coming to this camp is expected to come on Nov. 3rd with their full backpack (with all personal gear) since we’ll distribute all the group/patrols gear and food and we need to balance the weight for each participant (max. weight for the pack is 25% of the person’s actual body weight). We’ll also perform a pack check for 1st timer backpackers on November 3rd.
A reminder that all Scouts/Venturers/Scouters/Parents that are planning on hiking the Chilkoot trail next summer are expected to attend this camp.
