Heritage Area Klondike Derby

Our scout troop will be participating in this year's Heritage Area Klondike Derby.

The Klondike Derby is a day-long winter competition for Scouts during which patrols will pull their Klondike sleds along a 7-8 km course in Fitzroy Provincial Park in Ontario. Along the way, they will be tested on Scouting skills at 21 stations. The day ends with a banquet and the awarding of trophies.

Due to the early start parents are responsible to get their youth to the event at the Fitzroy Harbour Community Centre for 8:00am (Click here for a map with directions).

Please note that this is on the Family Day weekend.

The cost for this event is $20 per youth - due at the Monday February 1st meeting.
