Odawa Winter Beaveree-Cubaree 2010

Who: Beavers, Cubs, Leaders
Where: RJ Kennedy Community Centre, Dunning Road, Cumberland
What: A fun-filled day of activities and meeting other Beavers/Cubs
When: Saturday, February 6th (snow or shine), 10:00 am to 3:00 pm (drop-off begins at 9:30, opening at 10:00 sharp)
Cost: $8 per person (includes venue, program, lunch, afternoon snack and a crest)

Make cheques payable to “8th Orleans Scouts Canada” and bring payment to Malak for the January 25th Meeting.

Theme: Winter Olympics
Registration is 9:30am - 9:50am inside the building - please arrive during this time period.
Opening at 10:00am sharp
Lunch and afternoon snack are provided - if your youth has food allergies it would be best to bring your own food.
Pickup time is 3:00pm

Malak, Sunshine, and Tic Tac are the leaders attending, so look for one of us upon your arrival.


Things to bring (please label EVERYTHING with your child's name)
- necker, vest, and hat
- warm clothes, winter boots, and snowsuit/parka+snow pants (most of the activities are outside)
- sled and helmet (no GT racers - skating or bicycle helmet will do)
- mug for hot chocolate
- change of clothes (socks, mitts, hat, etc) would be a good idea too

Please bring extra clothing and mug in a small backpack or zippered bag to help keep everything together.
