Hey Scouts and Scouting Parents,

This camp will challenge our ability to pack only what you need to remain warm and dry. We are planning to go to Group Campsites at the west side of Gatineau Park. Scouts will be weighed with and without their packs to make sure that we do not carry more than 1/3 of our body weight, which is the limit according to Scouts Canada policies. Parents will drop youth off in the morning at parking lot 19 and we backpack in about 6 km to our site. We will gather at the church at 0900 am for the drive. Make sure that your scout has a lunch and snacks, as usual, packed in paper so that there will be little garbage.
