2012-06-08 to 10 Odawa Area June Camp

We will be participating in this camp which will have a Superhero theme this year. The camp starts on Friday evening and ends Sunday morning.
Cost for the camp will be $45 - please contact Akela if your youth will be attending.
We will be meeting at the church before 5:30pm on Friday and driving to camp from there.

ELECTRONICS ARE NOT ALLOWED AT CAMP!
Please make sure your Cub’s name/initials are on EVERYTHING.
- Assist the Cub in packing, but it’s important they pack their own bag to know where things are located
- putting items in large clear Ziploc bags will make it easier to find items
- investing in a 60+litre backpack with a central compartment, a couple zippered pockets, adjustable shoulder straps, straps/cords for attaching sleeping bag/bed roll, and padded hip belt is suggested. A duffle bag will work for the drive-in camps as well. Availabel at Scout Shop, MEC, Trailhead, Lebaron, Canadian Tire, etc.

- Shorts or pants
- Wide brimmed hat (no ballcaps)
- Comfortable running shoes or hiking boots
Pack:
- Underwear (3)
- Socks (3 pairs)

- Hoodie or warm sweater
- Rain jacket and pants (waterproof)
- Rubber boots
- Medication (reminder Leaders cannot provide medication, only assist)
- Full water bottle (Nalgene type)
- Pyjamas
- Sleeping bag
- Pillow
- Sleeping pad
- Toilet kit to include toothbrush and paste, hairbrush, facecloth, hand sanitizer
- Plate, bowl cup, knife, fork and spoon in a ditty bag
- Sunscreen (SPF30+, non-aerosol)
- Insect repellent (non-aerosol)
- Flashlight (with spare batteries)
- Water Gun/Super Soaker
- Bathing suit for water play + Towel
