2011-01-07 Sleepover at the church

8th Orleans Beavers
Sleepover @ Orleans United
January 7, 2011
The 8th Orleans Beaver Colony will be having a winter sleepover on Friday January 7th starting at 6:30pm with pickup at 9:00am the next morning.
Items for Beavers to Bring:
- pajamas
- fresh clothes for the next day
- sleeping bag with pad/air mattress
- sleeping buddy (required… our craft is based around a stuffed sleeping pal!)
- toiletries (ie. toothbrush, toothpaste, hair brush, etc)
- snowpants and outdoor gear
- indoor shoes
- necker (hat and vest can be left at home)
- flashlight
Things not to bring are snacks, toys, electronics, and viruses.
Come dressed to play outside; we’ll start off the evening with some outdoor games then move inside for the rest of the night. The church will be locked after 8:30pm, so contact Roger (Malak) at 613-277-8134 for emergencies or if you need to pick up your child early.
Planned Activities:
6:30 – 7:00 outdoor games (weather dependent)
7:00 – 7:30 indoor games
7:30 – 8:00 craft
8:00 – 8:15 sleeping setup
8:15 – 8:30 campfire
8:30 movie with mug-up
followed by: brush-up
bedtime.
~7:00am wake up time (later if possible)
followed by: pajama breakfast
brush up
change up
pack up
more games
8:30-9:00 pick up
Please ensure your Beaver is fed before coming to the sleepover. We will be providing snacks and breakfast, so if your youth has any dietary restrictions or allergies please let us know in advance.
