Family Event
Doors Open Ottawa is a Saturday / Sunday event with 132 buildings being open to the public for this special occasion.
Troop wants to participate in Doors Open this year. During canoe camp the Scouts found many buildings they would like to visit, but they are also in multiple locations. This makes the logistics difficult, so it has been necessary to have this become a family event. Grab the whole family and checkout some of the 132 locations.
- Recommend reviewing the options as some of the locations are only available on specific days.
- Hours are 10am – 4pm
- Attached PDF has details on all the locations.
Scouts recommended locations:
Manotick – Canadian Guide Dogs (18), Watson Mills (130)
Carleton University – Aboriginal Education (80), Lawn Bowling (91)
Youth Hostel – Old City Jail (56)
