What do Scouts do? Scouts create, lead, do, and review cool projects with their friends. Scouting is about Scouts leading Scouts to have fun doing interesting work.

What does this mean? It means Scouters (leaders) work with Scouts to help Scouts create ideas that fit the Scouting program, plan what to do, do those items, and then figure out what to do better next time. It's a never ending cycle of plan - do - review with fun with friends along the way.

This year, we want the Scouts to have a variety of positions including Patrol Leader (small team leader), Assistant Patrol Leader, and Patrol photographer. Each patrol can choose the other positions where they can learn what they want to learn. How will each position be chosen? Patrols elect people to each position. Positions can change and rotate as the Scouts progress, choose, and learn. Scouting is all about doing cool stuff with your friends.
