Location: Long Island Camp in Manotick
What is an 'Adventure Weekend', maybe the youth need to make that decision. Could be as simple as going for a bike ride or a hike, but where and for how long? Let us know forget the time of year too. Proper gear and adjusting for the weather is always best for 'being prepared'.
Friday
6:15pm meet at church
6:30pm departure for Long Island Camp (only 35km)
Saturday
geocaching, visit Watson Mill
creating temporary shelters
Sunday
Pinhey Sand Dunes reclamation 9am - 3pm
3pm pickup by parents at the sand dunes (see handout for address of pickup)
