07. Saturday October 13_Apple Day

When: Saturday, October 13, 09:00 - 12:00
Where: Gather at Orleans United Church parking lot
We will be gathering at the church and will send out teams to walk into the neighbourhood at 9:00am. The teams will be made up of Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, Rovers, Leaders and Parents. We will serve hot chocolate at the church afterwards, and each participant will receive an Apple Day crest.
Apple Day is also our annual necker making event. We are looking for people with sewing machines, plus cutters and ironers are welcome too. Contact Scouter Alan, commissioner@8thOrleans.ca if you can help.
Do:
• wear your uniform with pride
• be on time and dressed appropriately for the weather
• bring a basket for holding apples
• we're selling apples and accepting whatever people are willing to provide, donations accepted too
• say Thank You whether you get a donation or not
• have fun!
Do Not:
• be late or out of uniform
• eat the apples until you're back at the church
