The 8th Orleans Scouting group has planned a popcorn sales event for all sections (Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, and Rovers) on the Saturday of the Thanksgiving weekend.

Half of the profit raised by Beavers comes back to the Beaver Colony to help fund camp and other events, so we would like to see a big turnout from Beavers!

Here are the details:

When: Saturday, October 8th from 9am to 4pm.

Where: Convent Glen Shopping center, between Shoppers Drug Mart and TD Bank

Why: Because half of the profit comes back to the colony to fund camps and our other Beaver events.

How: We need to make sure that we spread the youth throughout the day, so here is a link to a Doodle Poll. Just click on the link and fill in your youth's name for times that you would like to help. One hour shifts are what we are recommending for Beavers:
