2015/06/26 - 07/05 - Yukon - Chilkoot Trail

Whitehorse Yukon and then to Skagway Alaska to hike the Chilkoot Trail back into Yukon.
- 5 day hike for the Trail + 1 day before or after hike
- 2 travel days
- 2 days Sky High Lodge outside Whitehorse - post hike
Open to Scouts of Troop A-Team and Troop BP, plus Venturers.
- limited to 16 youth and 6 Scouters for 2 groups of 12
Cost estimate is $2000
- to be offset by fundraising
Training
This hike will provide a challenge to all for packing and endurance, as it is a flow-through hike. That means everything is on our back for the 5 day hike. We'll be organizing hikes throughout our 2014-2015 session to build up our physical and mental strength. Participation will be mandatory for those going on the adventure.

Air North @ 1150am departure
Arrive at airport for 1000am, we're supposed to check-in 90 minutes in advance
Parents are responsible for getting your youth to the airport
On July 5 for return
Air North @ 0005 (actually Monday July 6)
Parents, check our departure from Whitehorse to confirm we're on time.
