Thanks to our successful fundraising we are able to get the cost of the trip down to $20 per youth. The payment is due on Monday, November 19th or earlier.
We are aware that this is also the same day as the Orleans Parade of Lights, so we have adjusted or plans to arrive back at the church at 5pm to leave time to make it to the parade. In order to make this work we have to leave early, so we want all youth to meet at the church at 8:15am to leave as soon as possible afterwards (no later than 8:30).
Here are the details:
- 8:15am - Meet at Orleans United Church to leave ASAP.
- 5:00pm - Arrive back at Orleans United Church (plus or minus 10 minutes... anything more and we will call)
Cubs need the following for the trip:
- Full uniform (grey shirt and necker) - THIS IS IMPORTANT!
- Bagged Lunch
- Water Bottle
- $10 for gift shop (optional) - we are planning to visit the Biodome gift shop before heading back to Ottawa (time permitting).
- Outside clothing based on the weather - although the Biodome is indoors, there is construction at the site so we may have a longer than expected walk outside to get from our vehicles.
