2014-04-05 (Saturday) Canoe Night at the Ray Friel Pool
Get set to get wet with Troop A! We'll practice our rescues and paddle strokes and maybe have some time to splash around.
Let's also invite the third year Cubs so they can see Scouts in action.
Location: Ray Friel Recreation Complex (1585 Tenth Line)
Time: 6 to 8 PM (Arrive 15 minutes early to change and be on the pool deck for 6 PM)
Bring:
We'll learn more about proper paddle and PFD sizing at our regular meeting on Monday, March 31st.
There will be a limited number of extra paddles and PFD's available for those who have not had the opportunity to purchase them yet.

- $10 per scout to cover the cost of the pool rental and lifeguards
- bathing suit
- towel
- comb or brush(if you have hair)
- lock (if you want to lock your belongings in a locker)
- paddle to fit the scout (available at most outdoor shops such as MEC, Bushtuka, Trailhead or Canadian Tire stores)
- personal flotation device (PFD) to fit the weight of the scout
