Come dressed to play outside, we’ll start off the evening with some snow games.
Items for Beavers to Bring:
- pajamas
- fresh clothes for the next day
- sleeping bag with pad
- sleeping buddy/pal
- toiletries
- snowpants and outdoor gear
- indoor shoes
Things not to bring are snacks and toys.

Parking Lot 22 at Mer Bleue AT 6:00 PM
Nature Walk along the Mer Bleue bog boardwalk
We will be meeting at Parking Lot 22 at Mer Bleue (directions to come) between 6:00 and 6:15 pm,
and we will be starting our walk through the at 6:15 pm
Please note the following:
• Dress for the weather! This is a rain, snow, or shine event.
• The only part of the uniform required is the 8th Orleans necker to be worn outside of your jacket (ie. must be visible at all times);
the rest of the uniform can be left at home.
• Wear flat-bottom footwear. The boardwalk is made of wooden planks so raised heels may get stuck between boards.
• The walking path is mostly wooden boardwalk, but the last part of the path is packed dirt/sand which may be a little muddy or slippery so boots are the recommended choice.
• Parents are strongly encouraged to join us on our walk,
• If you are late arriving you will find us on the boardwalk.
