The first Saturday of May is the annual Scout Trees event. This year we'll be planting trees at the Lafarge Quarry in Navan.

The information we have received says we'll be going to the main quarry on Rockdale Rd (off of Colonial and Frank Kenny); however, 3 years ago we planted off of Giroux where they had to reforest the area. We may be planting off of Giroux again since there were still areas to be planted, so when I get the exact location I will update this post.

In either case plan to drive up Frank Kenny and look for signs and/or Venturers providing direction as they will either be at Giroux or Colonial.

Click here for a link to directions from Google Maps with both locations labelled as B (Giroux) and C (Colonial).

Badge for campfire blanket will be awarded to all participants.
