The Venturers are hosting the third annual 8th Orleans Group Wide Camp at the RCMP Long Island Camp site just north of Manotick.
There will be a brief presentation for just the parents upon arrival to cover the legal stuff Scouts Canada requires all to complete:
Child and Youth Safety as well as Code of Conduct.

Beavers and parents will be sleeping INSIDE the conference centre. At this age, Beavers are not required to sleep in tents. Take note that you will be sleeping on the floor so be sure you do not forget your sleeping pad! (Leave your iPad at home ;-)

I have attached a Kit List that should be followed. You are encouraged to have your Beaver pack their bag with you so they know where their items are.

Be sure to check the weather and pack appropriately!

Beavers can bring one stuffy and blankie if they desire. But don’t bring the whole farm!

All food is prepared by the Venturers and part of your fee includes the food. Not sure what we’re having but pretty sure it’ll be tasty!

There will be a camp fire Saturday evening with songs and skits. If you don’t have a good blanket for sitting around the camp fire, it may be a good time to invest in one.
