We had 17 scouts out to our scout meeting and three leaders (Karen, Eric & Joni).

Here is what we did:
645-Several scouts tested for challenge badges including Aiden and David. Many scouts brought back equipment that was dry and clean. The quartermaster appreciates this as we prepare for our next camp.
700-Opening, dues and attendance were quick and the colour party was provided by Ross's patrol.
715-We played manhunt twice on the whole grassy area surrounding the church. Tim and Aislin were the last standing.
730-Year activities were conducted by Eric (3rd years), Karen (2nd years) and Joni (first years). The first years discussed the importance of fitness and the benefits of it to ourselves and then ran for 10 minutes, did 20 pushups and 17 sit ups as well as long jump. Aislinn was the speedy gonzales and Michael can jump far.
815-Akela provided popcorn fundraiser information to us all and we are excited about the prizes.
830-David and Aiden were invested and their parents held the flag during the ceremony.
845-Closing included providing permits to Aiden and David as well as patrol and assistant patrol stripes to those who require them.
folowing closing, Eric conducted a rousing game inthe hall.

Cheques were received by most parents for $50 (all scouts but 2nd years) and $100 (for 2nd years doing the first aid certificate program) are due tonight for Medic Alert Camp as we must submit them on Saturday Oct 10th.
