We had a great meeting and Michael brought a friend. The chapel was being used by the congregation tonight, so we will met in the Narthex which is the carpeted area outside the sanctuary.
645-badge testing
700-opening, dues and attendance - Ross did this and Michael presented regarding a charity that he supports.
715-outdoor game (rain or shine)-We played colours and red rover.
730-year activities- for all. The 2
800-game-we played with the rope and tried out a new game that Eric set up.
815-We reviewed four knots: 1.reef (for tying the same type of rope to itself, and where you need it to easily untie, 2. sheet bend (our flag), 3. clove hitch (to start a lashing), 4. round tun & 2 half hitches (used to tie our tarps to trees etc.)
845-awards and closing (Scouts will receive a poster regarding the Brass Band Concert and order forms for Chrismas Trees and Wreaths)
We thanked Tim, Michael, Aislinn and Ross who helped us to sell Christmas trees over the past few weeks.
